Hi, yes they can. Though its so bitter I’m not sure if they’ll like it. But my Mom do put an egg in it while boiling the soup and my brother eats it!

Hi Olivia. Thanks for dropping bye! Yes, I’ve tried but it’s still taste terrible to me then. I think the herb which taste I really dislike is Sichuan Lovage (Chuang Xiong/ 川芎). No matter what is put in it e.g chicken, I still loathe it. But now I just accept the fact that is a bitter medicine and I’ll drink it for my own good.
